Brett Andrew started performing professionally  in 2000,  represented by Media 5 Entertainment. In the short span of a year he garnered quite a bit of attention fronting a new cover band before they split due to musical differences. Realizing this was not his calling, he continued to perform solo and began to focus on original music and the art of production, as his pursuits always included some sort of recording studio. "I was quite excited at the sight of old yard sale equipment; instruments of all sorts, reel-to-reel tape decks, and pretty much anything that could make or record sound."

Every penny earned was spent on acquiring equipment, and gradually, the home studio started to look like something a bit more serious. In 2006, Brett partnered with Daniel Marino and moved to the Philadelphia area. Together, they created Studio 901 and FuzzTone LLC., an independent label to showcase the productions of the Studio.

In the midst of full time production with the artists of FuzzTone, Brett was given the opportunity to perform with Robert Randolph and the Family Band. The gig had them performing consistently throughout the states and abroad, and often as the musical guests on the late night television circuit. "I'm truly blessed to have been adopted into the Family, and to share the stage with so many iconic performers over the years…Absolutely priceless."
Yet no matter where he found himself, be it a hotel room or a green room, an airplane or a tour bus, Brett would often be mixing and editing tracks for Studio 901 and its array of diverse artists.

The long and winding road began to take its toll, and life’s inevitable changes had brought about the need to dissolve the studio and a majority of the label's artist repertoire. However,  the music and the heartbeat of FuzzTone live on, and like energy, the entity cannot be destroyed. It can only take on new form.

Upon the dismantling of the studio, Brett parted ways with Philadelphia and the Family Band, and has eagerly begun a new chapter of his musical journey. He looks forward to firmly planting roots in the fertile grounds of his youth, where he is simultaneously building a new recording studio and embracing the local music scene based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
In addition to performing with his talented Company, Brett is a regular guest performer with the Craig Thatcher Band, Free Range Folk, and the Mighty Manatees.
